Pulse Code Tech Ltd ("PulseCode", "we") is the data controller for personal data collected via pulsecode.co.uk. This notice explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are under UK GDPR.
What we collect
The only personal data we actively collect is what you give us:
- Brief form (/quote) — name, email, optional company, and the brief content you write.
- Direct emails / calls — anything you choose to send to info@pulsecode.co.uk or +44 20 3633 1955.
We do not run analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking on this site.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a written estimate.
- To carry out the project if we agree to work together.
- To keep records required by UK tax / accounting / contract law.
Lawful basis: legitimate interest for replying to your enquiry, and contract once we're working together.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers we need to operate:
- Resend — sends the notification & confirmation emails. (US/EU.)
- Netlify — hosts the site. (EU region.)
- Our accountants / HMRC where required for tax records.
We don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
- Brief enquiries we don't convert: deleted within 12 months.
- Project records: kept for 7 years for accounting, then deleted.
- You can ask us to delete sooner — see "Your rights" below.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
- Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Object to our processing or restrict it.
- Complain to the UK ICO (ico.org.uk) — although we'd hope you'd talk to us first.
To exercise any of these, email info@pulsecode.co.uk.
International transfers
Some of our processors (Resend, Netlify) may store data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.
Changes
If we change this notice we'll update the date at the top. Material changes — like adding analytics — will be flagged on the homepage too.
